Working At Oatley Coffee:
Oatley Coffee is a new and independent neighbourhood coffee shop located in Hampton. We are looking for our very first barista who is looking to join this crazy, fun journey with us!

What You’ll Do:
At Oatley Coffee, we believe that coffee brews community, and community fosters connection and that can’t be done without you. When you work for Oatley Coffee, you will be required to do the following:
- Minimum 1 year experience in working in similar specialty cafe’s is essential
- Understand how to make the perfect brew (and latte art, of course).
- Uphold specialty coffee standards
- Maintain a clean, organised work space and perform basic cleaning tasks.
- Restock supplies and manage inventory.
- Be committed to creating meaningful connections with customers and colleagues.
- Keep things running smoothly in the shop
- You have the ability to uphold great customer service so our customers continue to come back.
- Answer any questions customers may have and be knowledgeable on all retail products sold in the coffee shop.
- Be willing to learn and understand the point of sales system.
Position Details, Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting rate of £13 per hour.
- 40-hour work week, 9 hour shifts
- Paid lunch break, free coffee and one sandwich for lunch a day
- 28 days paid annual leave
- 5 days sick leave
- Full time (5 days per week) or part time (3 or 4 days per week) positions available
- We are open Monday to Sunday.
- We work on a rota system and everyone does their equal share of opening (6:30am) and closing (16:30pm) shifts.
