WHO WE ARE We are a small independent cafe & deli in the heart of Camberwell, London with a mission to serve amongst other things; beautiful coffee and food.
We also help local young people step up into paid work by employing, training and mentoring them - we were set up by and are overseen by a local youth employment charity called London Reclaimed.
Although we are small, we think we punch well above our weight! We’re all about good food, coffee and creating a friendly and creative environment for both locals and those who are just passing through. We love promoting local talent; music, the arts and local chefs and as such.
POSITION Our small, passionate and friendly team is looking for part-time barista to start as soon as possible. We need somebody with experience working in the speciality coffee industry, who is comfortable operating all the machinery and equipment associated and who can talk about the varieties in coffee with ease.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO :
be able to talk about the different types of coffee beans
You should be able to work in a busy environment, both independently and as part of a small team, (including young people on our training course) have a can-do attitude and have a passion for creating a welcoming environment for all our customers.
We use Assembly Coffee and have guest filters (including Dark Arts, Hasbean, Round Hill Roastery), we work with Mork Hot Chocolate, Good and Proper Tea and a range of locally based food suppliers.
